Schaefer scores in PSU’s win over UMD last Friday …

“I was trying to hit the upper ‘V’ because the goalie looked really athletic. It looked like she could dive low and, at that angle, it’s a matter of finesse and strength at the same time,” Ali Schaefer said. “I’m really solid with that lefty shot from the top of the 18 so I was really confident when I was taking it.”

Goals from Megan Monroig and Ali Schaefer + great performances in net by Krissy Tribbett and Kristin Hartmann helped the team to a 2-1 result in our last spring match of the season.
